Liverpool & Victoria Insurance

Liverpool & Victoria insuranceAlthough LV is by no means a new name to the insurance service industry it seems that the recent company face lift for its company’s reputation and branding. IT is a well known and long established company however since its recent rebranding it now appeals to a much larger section of UK car drivers.

When it comes to looking for car insurance the likelihood is that you are looking for one that offers a good price and decent discounts. There sales patter says that they offer up to 75% no claims discount which I am sure everyone will agree is a great saving. However often on their website you don’t get any saving for buying online rather than via a phone operator, which doesn’t always go down well amongst buyers. On the flipside you can sign up to no claims bonus protection if you have more than 4 years worth of no claims.

On their website they have different sections depending on who is looking for insurance including a women’s section and a senior citizens section. These sections are the most popular because LV do say that they have personalized savings for those over 50 and those that are female. However it is a little unclear on their website the exact savings you are entitled to if you do fit into either of these categories.

It seems that their marketing however may not have been as clear as it could have been. Their LVE branding on their adverts seems to have sparked a large increase in the number of searches for “luv insurance” amongst many search engines.

They also offer home insurance policy with plenty of options to tailor the policy to best match your needs. You can sign up for an exact policy to only sign up for exactly what you need if you search online. They also have a pet insurance policy with two levels on cover depending on how much in cost from vet bills you want to protect yourself from. There is no age limit for your pet and when you sign up you get access to 4 different help lines.

What is probably best about their site is the table of content that they have for their policies. It allows you to easily see the benefits of each policy, what you are covered for and the differences that they have. You don’t need to download anything to your computer to see this and it is simple and easy to understand.

When the company did a rebrand and shortened their new to LV they purchased the www.lv.com domain name. They have not released exactly how much they paid for this rare 2 letter domain name however it is rumored to be in the region of £2million. However I suppose they should count themselves grateful that .co.uk domains not allow you to have a 2 letter address so it was only the .com domain that they needed to spend out on. They have sensibly kept their old web address working and therefore www.liverpoolvictoria.com and www.liverpoolvictoria.co.uk still work.
